How To Get Rid Of Pain And Swelling Behind Both Knees?

I have some swelling and overall pain or discomfort behind both of my knees. I am a 48 year old female and the pain began last weekend after squatting to paint lower edges in a room. The swelling continues and I have noticed more veins there than before.

Hello,
It sounds like you may have developed Baker's cysts behind your knees. This happens when excess pressure is put on the knees and some of the fluid from the joints comes out in the back. These types of cysts usually resolve on their own but an elastic bandage type knee brace may be helpful until they resolve. If they are severe they could also be drained by a doctor.
