i am a 25year old African woman, not married and have no kids. i have a really oily face and usually get pimples when about to start my menstrual cycle. i can t stand having pimples on my face so keep applying products every time to i have a smooth face. without the products it gets really bad. recently things have gone worse, i get a lot of pimples on my face even when i am not close to starting my menstrual cycle. once i stop using any facial products they just seem to multiply on my face leaving behind blackheads. my face is now all covered in blackheads. i am very worried and do not know what to do because i am now scared of applying any facial product that may end up worsening the situation. i really want my face to come back to normal with no blackheads, no pimple just a smooth beautiful baby face. please i need your help urgently. thank you
Difficult to say without seeing you. Certainly a soap with a bit of abrasion might help. Benzoyl peroxide facial products might also.
The situation is complicated due to pigment. If there is a reaction/inflammation this could easily cause changes in pigmentation.
Furthermore there might be an infection that needs a bit of antibiotics. Frankly derm quesitons are tricky without being able to see the area.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
