Hello dear,
I can understand the problem of long lasting
acne in a young girl , and how much it can affect the self esteem.
So the best way to get rid of the acne for you ,will be to start oral
isotretinoin capsule 40mg daily once for 1 month, than 30mg capsule daily once for 1 month, followed by 20mg once daily for 2 months,
Strictly don't take if you are pregnant/planning for pregnancy/newly married as it is teratogenic means can cause problem in fetus (developing baby in womb)
don't donate blood also while on the isotretinoin,
avoid sunlight as your face may get photosensitive,
and apply
benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel at night only for half hour,
Clindamycin gel on
pimples only two times a day.
Good quality moisturizer (
cetaphil) two to tree times a day,
lip guard as there will be severe dryness on lips because of isotretinoin.
For black spot cream containing
hydroquinone 2 % at night application, will be best
Do consult your GP to get prescribed those above medication. .
do keep in mind,
strees, junk food, hot humid environment may aggravate your pimples, premenstrual flare is common.
Hope my suggestion will help you .Thank you , get well soon, you can follow me up if needed, my email mail Id, drraseshpatel@gmail.com
