Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I would keep a possibility of Inflammatory Acne.

If I was the treating doctor I would have started you on oral antibiotics e.g either Doxycycline 100mg twice daily for 2-4 weeks Or Azithromycin 500mg three consequtive days/week for 2-4 weeks.

Topically you could use either benzoyl peroxide gel 2.5 % twice daily OR Clindamycin phosphate 1% gel twice daily.

An OTC antiinflammatory e.g Ibuprofen 400 mg twice daily would provide symptomatic relief from pain

Regards
