How To Get Rid Of Q Tip From Ear?

i cleaned out my ears with a cheap qtip about 2 hours ago the whole tip came off in my ear i got part of it out but a small piece was still left behind, i tried tog et it out with tweezers but only smashed it down farther. my mother tried looking for it with a flashlight and it cant be seen anymore. i saw that olive oil might work so i tried that and hung my head over the sink for a while. i can feel it but ts still no where close to coming out. i even tried my daughter bugger sucker thinking it might suck it out .my neck is starting to hurt form my head being tilted from the past 2 hours or so. what should i do to get it out at home? i dont have insurance so i cannot go see my doctor

I am sorry to say that please don't try anything yourself to remove the piece of Q-tip from your ear.There is a possibility that the piece of Q-tip might go further inside injuring the skin of your ear canal or even the ear drum.

You will find relief by taking Analgesic with Anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen for the ear pain.

It would be advisable to consult an Otolaryngologist doctor for examination of your ear and removal of the piece of Q-tip.
