How To Get Rid Of Red Pus-filled Bump On Back?

I was looking at my boyfriends back one day and I saw a red bump on his back at first I thought it was a pimple but when I squeezed it this kinda hard white stuff came out and kinda smelled when I squeezed it. Once I squeezed it to the point where it was almost gone but it and back and 2 weeks later. Is there any way I could get rid of it?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
From your history and description, the possibility I would consider is a sebaceous cyst.
It is a cystic swelling containing sebum like material, which could sometimes get irritated or infected.
The treatment modality for this is surgical excision. The cyst needs to be removed completely to prevent recurrence. You could consult a dermatosurgeon or a general surgeon.
It is a simple procedure done under local anaesthesia.
Hope this helps you.
Take care.
