How To Get Rid Of Stretch Marks On The Inner Thighs?
I have what is appears to be stretch marks on my thighs in between my legs and on the outside of one of my hips. I thought at first they were veins but now I am thinking that they are stretch marks. They are red in color and are underneath the skin. Wondering if it is stretch marks and if i should see a physician?
Hello, Thank you for posting on HCM. Stretch marks also known as striae are often the result of the rapid stretching of the skin associated with rapid growth or rapid weight changes. Stretch marks may also be influenced by hormonal changes associated with puberty, pregnancy, bodybuilding, hormone replacement therapy etc Stretch marks are notorious to treat and results of the treatment is highly variable. Try applying tretinoin 0.1% gel (NEXRET 0.1%)at bedtime. Also apply glycolic acid 12% (GLYCO-A ) cream in evening. Apply vit E rich cream or oil (Markline cream, E-vit Oil)in morning. Also, cosmetic procedures like Yellow peel/Chemical peeling, microdermabrasion, laser therapy, Mesotherapy can be tried for augmented results. Hope this will take care of your query. Thank you Dr Hardik Pitroda
