How To Get Rid Of Stuffy Nose?

Stuffy nose, cold that won t go away (over a week) and now strong chlorine ammonia smell in nose. Very bad cough, blocked nose. I am ex chemotherapy patient (last treatment 1.5 years ago, ABVD chemo for non-hodgkins lymphoma), so may have suppressed immune system. I recently started back at work and have been very tired, keep getting colds, back to back.

Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
This could be sinus infection.
I recommend the following.
1) A course of antibiotics.
2) Antihistaminic like tablet levocetrizine with phenylephrine.
3) Oxymetazoline nasal drops. Don't use this drops continuously for 6 days.
4) Steam inhalation to improve sinus ventilation and drainage.
5) Smoking might aggravate this condition.
