How To Get Rid Of Swelling Of Forearm Caused By Weed Eater?

i burned my fore arm using a weedeater but i beleive it has become invected its swollen and red up to my elbow the burn is about the size of a nickle is there anything i can do to releive it i am very poor and going to doctor is last resort thank you gerald

Hi,

Well as the burnt skin or any other injured part of the skin is more prone to infection, therefore there is an increased probability of infection. So my suggestion is to apply a combination of antibiotic and steroid ointment over it and also take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen.

Also do cool compresses over the swelling. In case if it does not get better then you need to consult an Emergency room or a Physician and get checked.
