How To Get Rid Of Swollen Lymph Nodes, Pimples And Lump Near My Hairline?

I have an irritation on my hairline (in the center of my forehead) then realized I had swollen Lymph nodes. I did not think these symptoms were connected so I applied zit zapper cream to the irritation thinking it was a break out and it seemed to scab up like it was four little pimples connected. Today I woke up and have a lump underneath the irritation and its red and itchy. I am becoming very concerned. What should I do?

Hi,

It seems to be pyoderma.I would recommend you to take a course of oral and topical antibiotics and anti inflammatory medicines.I would recommend you to take tablet cephalexin 500 mg twice daily and apply fusidic acid cream on the affected areas twice daily. Also take anti inflammatory medicines like tablet ibuprofen.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, Dermatologist
