I can understand your concern for the chicken pox holes on your face. The scars of chicken pox are quite deep and therefore simple application of creams is quite difficult to treat it.
A gel containing tretinoin gel can be very helpful to you for long term. The only precaution you should follow is to apply the cream in very thin layer and that too over affected area only.
Also a cream containing azelaic acid cream or Kojic acid cream or glycolic acid cream or licorice extract or arbutine creams at night time in guidance of dermatologist for the spots is quite helpful in long term.
Take a proper guidance and follow up with a good dermatologist for the scars so that all the problem can be dealt best for future time.
Take care
