How To Get Rid Of The Pain In My Shoulder And On The Left Side Of My Neck?
hi, i just experienced pain in my left shoulder and on the left side of my neck. im able to turn my neck but it hurts when i do so. This has happened once before. the last time i just put a heating pad on it for a few days and it got easier to turn my neck. then eventually the pain just went away, but i have exams tomorrow so i really want to get rid of this pain right away. By the way i just took two aleve pills and i am 15 years old. can you give me some advice.
Your symptoms correlate to 2 possibilities: 1. Primary disease of the shoulder with referred pain to the neck. 2. Cervical spondylitis with referred pain to the shoulder.
Kindly get a xray of the shoulder and cervical spine done. Get it evaluated by an orthopedician. Take an analgesic for the time being. ..like ETORICOXIB along with a muscle relaxant. Heating pad with local analgesic gel massage will help.
Try not to sit for long hours for studies at a stretch as it exaggerates the spondylitis condition.
I hope my advice has helped good luck
