Dear Doctor, I have UN safe with my boyfrend nw i m nt getting my period its 1 weak late one of my frend suggest me to take misoprostal 200 i hv taken 2 by orally bt still i m nt getting my period i am too mch scared am i pregnant please suggest me what to do i dnt want to get pregnant , regards naina

Hi,

You may have to wait for 24 to 48 hours after taking the drug for termination of pregnancy.You may experience symptoms like nausea, abdominal cramps, vaginal bleeding and vomiting.

Ideally mifepristone should be taken 48 hours earlier.Since misoprostol alone may be successful only by 75 to 90 percent.
