How To Get Rid Of White Spot On The Roof Of Mouth?
I have a small white spot on the roof of my mouth, it feels a little irritated and swollen there too...my vitamin got stuck there about a week ago, not sure if that has anything to do with it..I have never smoked.. My email address is: YYYY@YYYY
Hello, You may have burned your tissue from a high acid content with the vitamin getting stuck.. I suggest that you rinse the area with warm salt water. Avoid any irritants such as alcohol, spicy and acidic foods. An anti-inflammatory medication such as Tylenol or Motrin may reduce swelling and help healing. If the area worsens or does not improve within a 14 day period, see your dentist. If have a viral infection, that usually will heal within that time. You may have a fungal infection that will require a prescription of Nystatin for treatment. Your dentist can put your mind at ease and determine if there is a need for any additional diagnostic tests concerning a growth or more serious condition. Thank you for your inquiry. I hope the area will heal for you and you will feel better soon.
