How To Get Rid Of Zoloft Mediated Side Effects Like Night Mare?
Hi, I have been on zoloft for the past 4 years and recently started to taper off it, because I am tired of it's side effects specially night mares at nights.I started from one day off and one day on and I am in the third weeks. My question is , what is the other step? How should I continue to get red off from the zoloft? Thank you
Zoloft contain sertraline. It is used for long term treatment of anxiety and depression. Many patients with chronic symptoms or recurrent symptoms may require it for several years.
Zoloft should not stopped without psychiatrist advice as it will lead to withdrawal or risk of recurrence of anxiety/depression.
Even when stop, it should tapered slowly over a period of 1-2 months by taking medicine daily and reducing doses weekly by 12.5 to 25mg.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. In case of any doubt, I will be available for follow ups. My link is: http://bit.ly/Dr-Ashish-Mittal
