How To Get Rid Off Dark Underarms?

I have really dark underarms because I started to shave early. I have been waxing for the past 6 months and I use the new dove cleartone deotarant to help lighten under arms but I see no difference. What can I do lighten them? Is there a specific medical drug I can use to lighten them? Or a formula?
