How To Get Rid The Over Active Thyroid That Causes Excessive Sweating?
Hi there,
I have an overactive thyroid but i can't believe this is the only cause of my stupid excessive sweating. It absolutely pours off me and all i need to do is just take a short walk.My scalp is always wet and my face and neck are always dripping, I hate it, its so embarrassing.
Hello, I carefully read your concerns and I am trying to give you some more information regarding hyperthyroidism.
One of the most common symptoms of hyperthyroidism (over active thyroid) is excessive sweating, but once you have corrected the hormonal level with oral medications the symptoms should not be present any more.
You didn't mention if you have ever treated your pathology but I would recommend you first to stabilize the hormones with oral tablets for some months and if the symptoms do persist than trying to find another cause.
I am opened for further answers after you provide me with some hormonal examinations that you have done and your actual treatment.
Hope the information will help you.
Kind regards,
