Hello,

It is difficult to provide a definite answer without knowing the complete history and nature of injury, and doing a physical examination. Please follow up with your ObGyn to see if stitches are required to correct the wound and the need for antibiotics as well.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
