How To Get The Rash Cause Identified Having Lymes Disease And Was Advised To See Rheumatologist For Tests?

I get a periodic trunk rash which concerns me. I don t think it is related to foods. I have had lymes disease. A health practioner said I should see a rhumetologist for tests. What would be your advice regarding how to get the rash cause identified.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

When the rash appears, you may want to note any change in creams/lotions/detergents/foods/drinks.

A rheumatologist normally deals with conditions of the muscles/bones, joints, soft tissues, autoimmune disease (eg lupus, rheumatoid arthritis).

A dermatologist may be more helpful in identifying your rash. That speciality involves identifying abnormal skin conditions. He or she may conduct different tests to determine the cause.

I hope this helps
