How To Head Damaged Vaginal Tissue?

Hey, I had a baby a month ago and a few days ago me and my boyfriend had sex, I m scared I messed up the heeling process completely and that it can damage vaginal tissue and that could cause me to be loose. What can I do to either rebuild that tissue or tighten the walls?

Hello,

If you had a normal vaginal delivery, you can go for the abdominal and perineal floor exercises right away to regain tone. Add protein rich food to your diet. Try to maintain a healthy weight. Breast feed your baby as much as possible. Maintain proper genital hygiene. Do not douche or use strong soap solutions. Instead, use mild antiseptic solutions. Avoid using tampons. Instead, go for sanitary napkins. If you feel that you have plenty of lax vaginal tissue, please contact your health care provider for further management.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

Usually it will take around 6 weeks for the genital tissue to regain most of its strength after delivery. Usually abstinence for 6 weeks after delivery is advised.

According to your history, the points to be considered are:
-If you are having any pain, bleeding, white discharge, etc. there is the possibility of infection.
In that case, please consult your gynecologist once and get examined.
-Generally, exercises are advised to start 6 to 8 weeks after delivery after undergoing postnatal checkup.
Better to start with Kegels exercises and walking. Later, gradually you can go for regular calories burning exercises.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
