i have problems with my tonsils quite frequently and i went to the clinic last week for a z pack because my tonsils were swollen - both strep cultures were negative but today i noticed one of my glands is a bit swollen and sore - i just finished my z pack yesterday

i think you are having a tonsil infection and maybe the micro organism is not sensitive to z pack , and you may have to change your antibiotic
