How To Heal Left Foot Swelling Post Hysterectomy?

Hi, I had a hysterectomy done Feb 12th. So far I only had not so good experience. The days after surgery my left food started to swell a little and it was also pretty warm. Went to the ER but no blood clots, which I was very glad about. Now my food situation started again...they say it post OP swelling, but I'm scared it's something else.

Hello,
Welcome to HCM
The most common factor to rule out for postoperative swelling of foot along with warmth sensation is Deep venous thrombosis.
It is most common after surgery due to long periods of immobilization.
So,i would suggest you to get one doppler study of that leg and reconfirm the diagnosis as soon as possible.
Also be active.Do some active leg exercises.
Hope you are happy with the answer.
Thank you.
