Hi,
In general, the normal range of
testosterone levels in healthy adult males is between 280 to 1,100 nanograms per deciliter (ng/dL). The normal male testosterone level peaks at about age 20, and then it slowly declines.
Tiredness can be caused by low testosterone. You have a normal total testosterone level and this result does not explain your tiredness.
Even
hypothyroidism can cause tiredness. For this reason, If you were my patient I will ask to do the thyroid tests (
TSH, FT3 and FT4) to understand your actual thyroid function.
T3 uptake was developed as an indirect way to estimate the amount of
thyroxine-binding globulin, which affects the level of free thyroxine.
Only if we find the cause of your tiredness, you can have the right treatment for your actual symptom. In my opinion, the T uptake is not the root problem of your symptom.
I suggest discussing with your local doctor about your tiredness and the possible causes and solution to this problem.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Elona Xhardo,
