How To Manage Painful Arms And Sub-clavial Blockage With Faint Pulse?

Hi,
My friend is 75, overweight, gets little exercise and has terrible pain in her left arm and a sub-clavial blockage.
She takes medication. She has not gone forward for further treatment-her pulse is faint. I have pulled into
Family Practice and Cardialogy offices, talked to great doctors...What can I do?

I understand you frustration with your friend. She must make her own decisions for her life. You do describe what sounds like a arterial blockage of her left arm. She may need surgery to relieve that blockage. The ultimate decision though is hers.

While waiting she can take aspirin daily. Her doctor could also prescribe medications for peripheral vascular disease.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help
