How To Overcome Cocaine Addiction?

Hi. I used cocaine for many years. 5 months ago, I went to rehab and since then I m clean. The problem is I ve been gaining a lot of weight - even though I don t eat much. Another detail is that I haven t been having my period since I quit. When I came back from rehab, I went to a gynaecologist. The tests have shown that my body is producing prolactine 3 times the amount it should. Please tell me what to do. I used to be 42 kilos and now I m 61. How can I get this in order and lose weight?

Cannot say in your particular case. Some rare people have a prolactin secreting tumor that has a wide number of effects. There seems to be one case reported in which someone with a prolactin secreting tumor had it suppressed while they were on cocaine and no longer suppressed when they stopped.
There is an interesting potential connection. Cocaine produces a flood of dopamine in the brain. Dopamine suppresses prolactin. No more dopamine, no more prolactin supression.
