Dear service user,
Thank you for writing to healthcaremagic.
Masturbation (self sex) in private or with a partner is considered a normal and healthy part of sexual enjoyment.
Masturbation is not a disease hence no adverse effects. Masturbation causes impotency is a myth.
Masturbation is akin to sexual intercourse. What penis does in vagina during sexual intercourse, same it does during masturbation in your folded palm? This is a natural activity and I would say a 'healthy' activity and does not either affect or deter sexual performance.
Masturbation is (in fantasy) sex with someone you really love!
There is no need to worry about it. Lack of knowledge leads to anxiety.
I recommend clearing all your doubts with a trained psychiatrist by psychological counseling.
I hope, I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help. Wish you good health.
