How do I know if I have social anxiety for sure? I am 16 years old and I am scared to go anywhere in public!I always start sweating when I am anxious and panicking And if I am in a busy shop I just walk out and leave. I avoid social situations such as family meet ups and at school, I feel embarrassed to talk in front of anyone as I fear I will make a fool of myself. I haven t got many friends but that s because I find it hard talking to people and giving them eye contact. I haven t told anyone that I think I have it and I am really scared of how to tell them
