Hi, I am rajesh. I am feeling that i am suffering from follicltus on the scalp. I am suffering from this problem since 8 months and never had it before. I took bath in swimming pool when i had gone for a trip almost 8 months ago and i suspect that could be the reason. Symptoms: Hair Scalp gets slightly irritated and eventually a minute bubble filled pus will be formed. It will then go by itself with-in a couple of days leaving the bump of a dried blood which will fall off by itself. If one goes off, another will arise on the scalp on another position. I tried using low PH shampoo, no use. I even tried anti bacterial and anti fungal cream, it gave relief only for 1 or 2 days. I am looking for a permanent solution.
There may be mild bacterial infection in the hair follicles. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.
I would recommend you to take long course of broad spectrum antibiotic like doxycycline once a day on empty stomach. And apply antibiotic cream like gentamicin on the lesions and in nostrils at night. Cleanse the scalp with diluted savlone liquid.
Improve hygiene and take steps to boost the immunity.
Hope this helps.
