How To Overcome The Stomach Fistula Caused As A Result Of Duodenum Suture Surgery?

My father has a stomach fistula as a result of duodenum suture surgery. Its been three months and his fistula has not healed and still has around 50ml drain coming out per day. Is there any medicine that might help him to heal the fistula faster. He is in no condition to go through one more surgery.

In some cases abdominal fistulas close on their own by supportive treatment after few months. Some people may need parenteral nutrition while the fistula heals. However, in some cases where the fistula is not healing, surgery is necessary to remove the fistula and part of the intestines.
