How To Overcome The Swollen Ans Bruised Pimple Scar Caused By Breaking It?

i popped a "pimple" on my knee last night, some white pus came out, but before i popped it it was sore like a bruise, and now it hurts more than ever and its red, kinda swollen, and warm around the site, its about 2-3 inches in diameter, hurts to walk on it, should i go to the doctor?
