How To Overcome Withdrawal Symptoms Of Wellbutrin?

My daughter (age 27) weaned herself off of Wellbutrin 4 weeks ago. After 3 weeks she started having withdrawal symptoms. Her neurologist prescribed an MRI and blood tests. She is also taking a low dose of Valium to relax the muscle spasms. Is there anything else she should be doing? She has not been able to go to work for a week.

Hello,
I don't know how fast your daughter has weaned herself.
The fact is that it really takes very long time to come out of Wellbutrin.
Even if physical effects go away, psychological effects may take many months to go away.
The best way to wean off is to taper the drug by 10% every 3-4 weeks.
Doing yoga, prananayama, deep breathing, eating healthy, drinking plenty of water and doing aerobic exercises are additional helps.
Thanks
