Sir I am a guy age of 24, I have been suffering from alopecia areata which was formed like small patches some parts of my scalp since age of 18 years. But I have been taking medical treatment. It was cured too but again it used to occur in some other place. I have been treated by using some lotions, creams, vitamins tablets and at last injections. But still I am having another patch formed. Is there any permanent solution to cure this disease.
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
There is currently no cure for alopecia areata, although there are some forms of treatment that can be suggested to help hair re-grow more quickly. The most common form of alopecia areata treatment is the use of corticosteroids, powerful anti-inflammatory drugs that can suppress the immune system. They should be prescribed by a dermatologist.
