Hello. My question is in regards to delaying my period. I am going on vacation next month and due to the stress of my exams, my period cycle shifted to the time i will be on vacation. Is there any remedy I can take to delay my period my two to three days?
-You have to use the tablets after consulting your doctor only.
-You have to start the tablets at least three days before the expected date in case of regular periods and five days before in case of irregular periods, so that the tablets can give effective result when needed.
-You have to continue the tablets till the date you complete your program.
-The tablet should be taken at the same time everyday, missing the pill or time can lead to withdrawal bleeding.
-Post pill menstrual period could be little heavy due to the increased thickness of endometrium.
-Repeated intake of pills can affect the regular menstrual cycle.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri SR
