How To Prevent Chest Congestion With Infection And Cough?

My son is 9 yr old as last year was badly infected n chest congestion...n was admitted too n since with medcine got cured but again same thing it started this yr also n doc said its congestion..n how to prevent this as he is normal in routine..but only cough..badly

Thanks for your query.
I am telling you that it may not be a mere congestion only. There may be an underlying congenital abnormality or other chest abnormality which is causing recurrent pneumonia or pneumonia like presentation the evaluation of which you need to consult a pulmonologist and proper evaluation by HRCT scan with contrast study of thorax and fibre-optic bronchoscopic evaluation for which you need to consult a pulmonologist.
