Let me tell you that predmet is methylprednisolone, a corticosteroid. I also want to tell you that every medicine has it's side effects and doctor always benefits against risks before prescribing the medicines.
You have been asked to decrease the doses gradually so that you do not experience rebound symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care

Predmet is a steroid so it has been prescribed with dose tapering so that you do not experience rebound symptoms. You should not worry too much about the side effects as these will go away a few days after you stop taking it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
