Hello thanks for choosing Health Care Magic for your health related queries
Oxycodone is a opioid drug. Regular long term use of the drug results in dependence and tolerance to its effects. Abrupt stoppage of its use after long term use can precipitate withdrawal symptoms. To prevent withdrawal syndrome you need to consult a Psychiatrist. Gradual tapering of dose is advised to prevent withdrawal. Medicines like Buprenorphine or Methadon can be used to prevent withdrawal syndrome. To reduce craving Pregabalin or Baclofen can be used. Consult a psychiatrist for treatment and stop abusing Oxycodone.
Thanks, hope this helps you
