How To Read The Abbreviations In The Test Results Concerning Meth Use?
when reading my test results print out from my doctor what are the types of abbrivations or codes that I don t know but want to know concerning meth use. urine and blood how do I read the chart and im able to see or tell if that test was done. meaning I don t know what to look for and I want to know
Blood and urine tests done for detection of methaphetamines can be laboratory based tests or can be done using self kits with dip sticks. The lab based tests can give you the concentration of meth in the sample provided. The test results usually mention the name of the compound like 'Methamphetamine' or may use abbreviations like MET or mAMP. The value obtained in the sample will be printed against the name of the substance and a cut off value may be provided beside that to show how higher/lower than the cut off it is. The dip sticks will react to the sample it is dipped into and show a single line in the control region (C) if the test is positive.
