Hi,

As mentioned that you over performed the exercise this has landed you in DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) In this situation there is an inflammation in the muscle fibers.

As two days have passed now another 2 more days you need to wait taking hot water fermentation and relaxation. Don't do any kind of stretching or other exercise for now. It will heal by another two days of time.

In my clinical practice of over 12 years, patients with DOMS responds well to rest and hot water fermentation. In about a maximum of week of time they do well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
