i am 28 years old now.. from past few months i have put on weight and i have been working our from past 2 weeks.. there is lot of progresss on my belly area.. my concern is with the fat on the chset.. you may call that as man boobs.. wht should i do to reduce that.. i have given most of the food items and working out.. i am on diet also.. not sure why is that its really feels sick some times infrom of others making fun of you.. could you please suggest some medicines for that..

Hello, Thanks for the query. I can understand your concern. Your pathology is called gynecomastia and needs a careful clinical and lab. evaluation. Usually it is common in adolescence, in your age should be tried to find a cause and treated accordingly. A serum chemistry panel may be helpful in evaluating for renal or liver disease. Free or total testosterone, luteinizing hormone (LH), estradiol, and prolactin levels are used to evaluate gynecomastia. Obtain thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) and free thyroxine levels if hyperthyroidism is suspected.
