i am a female of 20 years and have been having lots of hair fall these days. i shampoo once a day and do proper oiling. it was never before but nowadays the quantity of hair fall is just humongous . suggest me possible remedy as the volume and density of my hair has been decreasing rapidly. i had primary dengue last November but i recovered soon. there are no medical history as such
I would keep a possibility of telogen effluvium. Telogen is the resting phase of hair growth cycle. After any stressful event e.g medical illness like dengue, typhoid etc the hair gets shifted from the growth phase (anagen) to resting phase (telogen) which is manifested as increased shedding. Telogen usually begin 3 months after the stressful event and can last upto 6 months following which the hair follicle re-enters the growing phase.
I would suggest that you take a good healthy diet, rich in nutrients and vitamins. A biotin supplement once daily would aid in faster recovery.
regards
