I have pain in knees, ankles ,front & bottom of feet, swelling in top &ankles of both the feet .The swelling increases while walking or sitting on the chair .the viral attacked me five weeks ago. I suffered from high temperature (4.5 Fh) for about a week.Kindly suggest how to reduce the swelling&the pain?
It is common to have joint pain and swelling after some viral infections and it remains for up to a year even after subsidence of original symptoms and infection. You need to keep your limbs elevated while sitting or lying down, do warm saline fomentation and eat more of slimy vegetables like lady finger and colocasia. You can also take glyco-protein supplements.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
