i banged my shin on a coffee table over the weekend fairly hard, and didnt think much of it. the next day it was significantly swollen, but it didnt impair any mobility and i couldnt make the pain worse by flexing anthing or pushing on the bone or anything like that. the rest of the day i just took it easy, and iced when i wasnt busy, but it seemed to only get worse over time. today i went to work, and it felt about the same. i feel no pain in it, other than the pressure of the swelling. today after work, ive been keeping it elevated and icing it, but the swelling is just as bad or worse than it was a day ago. is this something i should be worried about or will it just take a few days to calm down?
