How To Regain Appetite After Severe Loose Motions?

Sir, my daughter is 11 months old and has lost her appetite after suffering from severe loose motions. Though loose motions have been checked, she is not taking her food properly. She has become very lean and thin and no significant weight gain is seen.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about your 11 month old daughter. She has lost her appetite after severe loose motions. Became very lean and thin.
I would advise you the following:
Take her again to the Pediatrician for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations of the blood, urine and stool.
Ultrasonography of the abdomen if needed.
This will give an idea of any remnant infection which is the major cause of loss of appetite in children.
Once the cause is found, this can be treated properly.
I find this answer helpful
