How To Release The Trapped Air In The Chest After A Robotic Hysterectomy?
I had a robotic hysterectomy a week and 4 days ago, I have had trapped air in my left side of my chest for three days, gets better than worse, I have tried hot tea, moving around ,tums, semethcone, do u have any suggestions, This is the worst pain I have ever experienced
You need to be seen right away for this. I am not sure what you mean by "trapped air" but if air is free in your chest or abdomen, this is serious. Sometimes a surgery can cause a nick in the bowel and release air, which causes severe pain. In that case, the nick would have to be fixed. Go to the emergency room.
