When I landed it was straight on my bottom but my chest hurt very badly. Right after I could not life my granddaughter because if the extreme pain. I can not lift much weight still now a week later. My sternum is sore to touch but getting better. Moving in arms behind me or close in front hurts this same area.

Hi, I have gone through your query and understood your worries.
Accidents with rapid deceleration can injure certain organs inside the chest. With this presentation, I think it is necessary to rule out an organ injury. In my opinion I would suggest you an Emergency room doctor for proper assessment and management.
I hope I have answered your query
I wish you good health
