Hello, my daughter had some skin growing on her ear, right where her ear peircing is. Anyways, her doctor ripped the skin off her ear today and then cauterized the area from where the skim was torn off. There was a lot of bleeding. Now there is a large black dot on her ear. Will the black spot remain there? Will it fo away? How do I remove it? Please advise asap, her ear looks horrible. Thank you.
The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is post inflammatory hyperpigmentation .Topical depigmenting agents like kojic acid and arbutin can be used .Avoid fiddling or rubbing the lesions.
