Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...about a month ago I had my hair around my penis waxed and after I noticed a bruse like spot but it still hasn't gone away and if anything has got darker and clear Puse come out when I squeeze it
It sounds like a folliculitis. If it’s small you can buy an antiseptic/antibiotic/anti-fungal cream in the pharmacy. If it gets worse or doesn’t improve after three days, please see your GP for systemic antibiotic treatment. It’s not a nice thought to imagine the infection to spread. It rare cases that can lead to conditions which end with the amputation of the penis.
Hence, please let me add a recommendation: waxing is never a good idea in this region of the body. Every removed hair leaves something like an “open gate” for bacteria and fungi. So you better trim you hair with a hair trimming machine. That will reduce the risk of such an infection.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
