How To Remove Corn On The Inside Of The Little Toe?
I have what looks like a corn on the inside of my little toe. It is very painful and I have to put something between my toes to cushion it so I can wear shoes and walk. This has been going on for a couple of weeks now. I have used corn medicine but it doesn't seem to help. I ice it every night. Do you have any suggestions?
there are two kind of diseases that can present in this manner
1. Intertrigo ( a fungal infection, mostly present on both feet, more in diabetics) can be treated with a course of oral antifungals and application of antifungal locally.
2. Corn, which are mostly unilateral (on one feet), can be treated with simple application of a corn medicine (containing lactic acid and salicylic acid) for a month. It can be also removed by a dermatologist in one go
I would suggest you to visit a dermatologist to distinguish between both conditions and give you an appropriate treatment
Thanks
