Hi there, I have a very deep and long(3cm) cut mark on my left chick(near chin). It's really bothering me. I got it when I was17 and currently I'm 26. I am going to get married and I want to remove it. Actually I got it by the chain of stainless steel watch. That time I didn't go for stitching because I was afraid of it. Now I'm worried. I have tried Mederma for 2-3 months but no effect.
Unfortunately there is no procedure yet to remove the scar permanently.Ointment like Mederma will not be of any use as the scar is very old and wound was not stitched at that time. But there are treatment to make scar less noticeable which may include:
