How To Remove The Foreign Objects From Eye Lids?

Foreign objects in my eyes. Right eye has had a piece of sky blue abs plastic roughly 0.25mm thick and 2mm long. It s a piece of support plastic from a 3D printed object I designed, and it s been stuck in there for about 3 weeks. An insect, possibly a fruit fly, flew into my left eye a week ago. I can still feel both objects in my eyes, they re both stuck under my upper eyelids and appear to be encased in white mucus or pus. Rinsing them with water has not dislodged them. If I pull my eyelids outwards then upwards I can see the objects using a mirror.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
It seems from the history that foreign objects in the form of a plastic piece and a fly are impacted in the eye lid on the conjunctival side.
These needs to be removed by a forceps asleaving behind them can cause infection.
As of now you can use antibiotic eye drops.
Do consult your ophthalmologist at the earliest for removal of foreign bodies.

Thank you
